VP, Equity Analyst
As an Equity Analyst, you will play a crucial role in conducting in-depth research and analysis on companies to provide actionable investment recommendations to investors. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of financial markets, and the ability to deliver insightful investment insights. Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive research and analysis on companies across various sectors, including financial statement analysis, industry research, and competitive benchmarking.
- Evaluate the financial performance, growth prospects, and competitive positioning of companies to assess their investment potential and provide buy, sell, or hold recommendations.
- Develop and maintain financial models to forecast company earnings, cash flows, and valuations, utilizing a range of valuation methodologies.
- Monitor market trends, economic indicators, and regulatory developments to identify investment opportunities and risks for our clients.
- Prepare and present investment reports, presentations, and recommendations to internal stakeholders and clients, communicating complex financial concepts in a clear and compelling manner.
- Collaborate with portfolio managers, traders, and other investment professionals to implement investment strategies and optimize portfolio performance.
- Build and maintain relationships with company management, industry experts, and sell-side analysts to gather insights and validate investment theses.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, accounting, or related field CFA or MBA preferred.
- Proven experience in equity research, investment analysis, or financial analysis, preferably within a buy-side or sell-side firm.
- Strong analytical skills, with proficiency in financial modelling, valuation techniques, and statistical analysis.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex financial concepts to diverse audiences.
- Strategic thinker with a deep understanding of financial markets, industry dynamics, and macroeconomic trends.
- Detail-oriented with a passion for uncovering investment opportunities and generating alpha for clients.
- Team player with the ability to collaborate effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Open to travel.
Salary:
- $13,000-$16,500 per month (excluding bonus)
