Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the Finance Operations team.
- Oversee payment and receipt processes, addressing any issues that arise.
- Review reconciliations for clients and brokers.
- Ensure accurate investment security tagging, price updates, and investment reporting.
- Review and approve daily accounting entries for posting.
- Monitor payment, receipt, miscellaneous, and trade debtor reconciliations.
- Conduct reviews of AML (Anti-Money Laundering) transactions.
- Coordinate with internal and external auditors as needed.
- Drive process improvements and promote efficiency within the team.
- Provide guidance and support to the Finance team.
- Leverage strong understanding of the end-to-end Finance function in the securities brokerage industry to support ongoing transformation projects and new product launches.
- Manage ad-hoc projects as required.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 8-10 years of experience in Accounting and Finance, with a strong understanding of Finance Operations processes.
- Experience in finance automation and digitalization initiatives.
- Effective communicator with the ability to collaborate across different stakeholder groups and deliver results in a dynamic environment.
- Proven experience in managing and leading a team.
- Familiarity with the securities industry is an advantage.
