Our client is looking to hire a VP Fund Finance to join their portfolio company in the logistics industry. This role is backed by a private equity firm and based in Singapore. The successful candidate will oversee the financial operations , including reviewing financial results, consolidating accounts, preparing statutory accounts, and management reporting.
Role And Responsibilities
- Provide critical analytical and transactional support to acquisitions, fund managers, and asset managers for a myriad of transactions: acquisitions, dispositions, restructuring, and financing/refinancing.
- Participate in capital structuring and tax planning for acquisitions & restructuring.
- Review FDD and tax DD reports, SPA review, NAV negotiation, and other finance-related transaction documents.
- Liaise and coordinate with fund administrators, accounting service providers, auditors, tax agents, and other service providers.
- Maintain accounting records for investment holding entities on a regular basis.
- Prepare consolidated financial statements in compliance with relevant accounting standards.
- Ensure timely and accurate delivery of group reporting.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and financial reporting standards.
- Prepare and oversee the financial operations of investment funds, including fund accounting, valuation, and reporting.
- Guarantee accurate and timely reporting to investors.
Requirements:
- Bachelor s degree in accounting, Finance related; CA/ACCA/CPA qualified.
- Minimum of 8 years of relevant working experience in finance and accounting, ideally starting their career in a Big 4 firm and currently with a Private Equity/ Asset Management/ Investment firm.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Open to some business travel.
- Hands-on approach and readiness to shape the role from the beginning.
