VP - MLRO, Private Banking

Expansion headcount with a renowned multi-national bank!

This is a critical hire that will focus on providing AML advice to the private banking business and will hold the MLRO appointment.

The organisation offers you the chance to:

• Advise the private banking business on AML obligations, and work closely with senior AML colleagues to enforce a robust AML regime.
• Keep abreast of AML regulatory changes affecting the private banking business and ensure that internal compliance policies are updated/robust.
• Assist in adapting group level AML policies and frameworks to ensure relevancy to the private banking business.
• Work closely with the first line of defence and business heads, offering pragmatic compliance advisory to assist in navigating a complexed regulatory landscape.

You offer:

• At least 10 years of experience in AML in the private banking/wealth management sector.
• Experience holding appointments/roles such as MLRO, deputy MLRO or Head of AML before will be advantageous.
• Experience liaising with various stakeholders across business lines.
• Good at building relationships and credibility; you will be dealing with both internal and external stakeholders of ranging seniority on a day to day basis.
