KPP Search is partnered with a globally recognised financial services brand who are searching for a proven SVP for their innovative Technology Risk team in Singapore.
This opportunity will see the successful candidate as an integral player in the development of the Line 2 implementation for emerging technology, AI, data, and wider technology to build a seamless collaborative ecosystem between the first line and 2nd line risk.
You will support the unit head, sharing knowledge across teams and building relationships with peers in technology.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and report on infrastructure and cybersecurity risks.
- Assess and challenge design and resilience of IT infrastructure, including stress testing for disaster recovery.
- Provide SME guidance to stakeholders on AI products and implementation.
- Lead remediation of control deficiencies and perform root-cause analysis on risk incidents.
- Independently verify effectiveness of IT controls and participate in second-line assurance reviews.
- Collaborate on emerging technology risk management (e.g., SRE, AI, IoT, cloud).
- Provide expert risk management oversight, including reporting on technology risk activities for risk committees.
- Mentor junior team members and stay updated on cybersecurity threats and regulatory impacts.
Key Requirements:
- Degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field with 12-15 years in relevant roles.
- Preferred certifications: CISA, CISSP, CISM, CCSP, CRISC, SRE Practitioner.
- Solid experience in infrastructure and cybersecurity, particularly within cloud services, Agile, and DevOps.
- Proficient in industry frameworks and regulations (e.g., ITIL, NIST, ISO 27001).
- Skilled communicator with strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management abilities.
- Strong influencing skills, teamwork orientation, and a focus on innovation.
- Comfortable engaging stakeholders at all levels and advocating for risk management within a dynamic environment.
