A Logistic Store man is responsible for managing and organizing inventory, ensuring that goods are stored efficiently, and overseeing the receipt, dispatch, and storage of products in a warehouse or storage facility.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Inventory Management:
Maintain accurate records of inventory levels and stock movements.
Conduct regular stock counts to reconcile physical stock with system records.
Monitor inventory levels and reorder products as needed to maintain optimal stock levels.
2. Receiving and Dispatching Goods:
Receive incoming shipments and verify the contents against purchase orders or delivery notes.
Prepare goods for dispatch, ensuring that they are correctly packed and labeled.
Coordinate with logistics and transportation providers to arrange for the shipment of goods to customers or other locations.
3. Storage and Organization:
Ensure that goods are stored safely and securely to prevent damage or loss.
Organize warehouse space efficiently to maximize storage capacity and facilitate easy access to products.
4. Quality Control:
Inspect incoming and outgoing goods for quality and compliance with specifications.
Identify and report any discrepancies, damages, or defects in product.
