Warehouse Senior Executive / Supervisor
A leading safety and health products distributor is currently seeking candidates for the position of Warehouse Assistant who is able to manage and organise the company's inventories via Inventory system and perform operational and clerical support in the warehouse.
Job Description:
- Maintain accurate inventory records through the use of a computerised inventory system.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in recording and documenting inventory.
- Receiving incoming shipments/delivery, verifying their contents, and accurately recording received goods.
- Prepare outgoing shipments/delivery by picking, packing according to order specifications.
- Organize and store goods in designated locations in an orderly and accessible manner.
- Conduct regular stock checks, year-end stock take and audits to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Report discrepancies and damaged items to the supervisor.
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment.
- Follow safety procedures and regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes and procedures.
- Assist to ensure proper maintenance of the company vehicle, forklift, reach-truck, warehouse equipment.
- Any other ad-hoc operational duties as assigned by mainly the supervisor and/or warehouse manager.
Requirements and skills:
- O'Levels and above are welcomed to apply.
- Able to speak / write English to handle queries.
- Computer skills on MS Office, especially Excel.
- Experience in Warehouse Management System (WMS) will be an advantage
- Effective communicator
- Independent, responsible and a team player
- Proactive self-starter with service mind-set and willingness to learn.
- Class 3 / Class 4 License / Forklift License.
- Good attitude, punctual and reliable.
- Willing to work overtime, weekends, or public holidays when required.
