We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Operations Executive to join our expanding team.
Job Summary: The Operations Executive will be responsible for ensuring smooth and efficient day-to-day operations within the company. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in wholesale trade operations, particularly in the commodities or related industries. This role requires excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle complex operational processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the end-to-end operations of the trade process, including order management, logistics coordination, and supply chain management.
- Ensure timely execution of trade contracts, including preparation of shipping documents, customs declarations, and compliance with international trade regulations.
- Liaise with suppliers, clients, and logistics partners to coordinate the movement of goods, resolve operational issues, and ensure seamless delivery.
- Monitor shipments and payment processes, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all transactions.
- Support the Operations Manager in the management of trade documentation, including Letters of Credit, Bills of Lading, and other relevant documents.
- Maintain effective communication with internal teams (e.g., finance, sales) to support smooth operations and address any operational challenges.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and relevant legal regulations.
- Identify areas for process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and contribute to the company's growth objectives.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in wholesale trade operations, preferably within the commodities or related industries.
- Solid understanding of international trade regulations, logistics coordination, and supply chain management.
- Strong proficiency in handling trade documentation, including shipping documents, Letters of Credit, and customs procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with suppliers, clients, and partners.
- Highly organized, with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook) experience with ERP systems is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying and addressing operational challenges.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Education:
- A diploma or degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field is preferred.
