Looking for a Wildlife Research Assistant (Ad-Hoc) to join us!
Mastermark is Singapores leading bird and wildlife management company, striving to provide innovative solutions through end-to-end services and products to help manage human-wildlife conflicts locally and abroad. You will be assisting the wildlife consultancy department in their day-to-day responsibilities, including airport wildlife consultancy services and environmental monitoring and management programmes.
What you will be working on:
Field surveys and wildlife identification
Data collation and analysis
Literature review and report writing
Wildlife carcass dissection and autopsy
Protocol development of the above processes
Experimental design and execution such as manipulating environmental variables and assessing their impact on wildlife community composition, behaviour, etc.
What we are looking for:
Minimally Diploma or ongoing undergraduate study in Life Sciences, Ecology, Environmental Management or related disciplines
Experience with avian and terrestrial invertebrate identification would be preferable
Skills in Microsoft Excel and QGIS will be an added advantage
As this is a ad-hoc position, you will be paid hourly ($10-$15 per hour) and/or on per assignment basis.
