Job Description
To continue with their mission, they are currently partnering with Upwork to find a talented individual to develop and design a financial literacy program specifically for children.
General Guidelines:
Time for session: 90 mins
Target audience: Primary 1 to 6 children from underprivileged homes and normal homes.
Objective: 2-fold. Give them the experience of earning money to build confidence and open eyes to the many ways to earn income and how to manage money so that they live within their means and still have a surplus.
Mode of delivery: 30% of the time will be spent on a short explanation to set context and learning points, and then 70% will be spent on an activity.
Scope of Work - the chosen freelancer is expected to:
Polish the program and build out the content
Create the facilitator modules (teaching guide, script, etc)
Train the facilitators
Design the signage and produce the props (will be reimbursed) - kindly provide an estimated budget separately.
Qualifications
Must be a creative thinker with a passion for children's education and an understanding financial concepts.
Must also be able to conceptualize engaging learning activities and design and come up with the tools needed for the program (or able to source the work to another designer or vendor to bring the materials to life).
Additional Information
FYI: There will be a sample program of what they are trying to build. As this is in its initial/conceptual stage, they look to polish it further. They are very open to changes to that first concept.
