Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and innovative Workshop Instructor to lead immersive, hands-on workshops combining Science, Music, Artificial Intelligence (AI), and Creative Learning into Art / Creative Art. The ideal candidate will have a passion for interdisciplinary teaching and the ability to engage students in exploring creative solutions through technology and the arts. This role is designed for a creative educator who can inspire and guide learners of diverse backgrounds to think critically and innovatively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate Workshops: Deliver engaging, interactive workshops that explore the intersection of Art & Creative Art through project-based learning.
- Curriculum Development: Design and adapt lesson plans that integrate core STEAM subjects, encouraging creativity, experimentation, and problem-solving.
- Student Engagement: Foster an inclusive and stimulating learning environment where students feel empowered to explore and collaborate on innovative projects.
- Hands-on Learning: Use a variety of tools and technologies (e.g., coding platforms, music production software, AI applications) to support creative exploration.
- Assessment & Feedback: Provide constructive feedback to participants, assessing their understanding and helping them refine their ideas and projects.
- Innovation & Exploration: Encourage students to explore how art and other emerging technologies can be used creatively in academic education.
- Workshop Preparation: Prepare materials, resources, and activities ahead of each session to ensure smooth and productive delivery of the workshop content.
Qualifications:
- Educational Background: Degree or relevant experience in Science, Art, Music, AI, Engineering, or Education with a strong focus on creative learning.
- Experience: Proven experience in conducting workshops or teaching in a STEAM or creative learning environment.
- Interdisciplinary Knowledge: Expertise in both the technical and artistic aspects of STEAM, particularly how Art can intersect with music and science.
- Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in coding (Python, Java, etc.), music software (Ableton, GarageBand, etc.), AI platforms, and other relevant digital tools.
- Creativity & Innovation: Ability to design engaging, forward-thinking activities that inspire innovation among participants.
- Communication Skills: Strong presentation and facilitation skills, with the ability to engage participants of various ages and skill levels.
- Problem-Solving: Strong ability to guide students through creative problem-solving processes and real-world applications.
Workshop Format:
- Duration: Each workshop runs for 3-5 days with flexible hours depending on the group needs.
- Location: On-site or virtual workshops, depending on the cohort.
- Compensation: Paid per workshop (negotiable depending on expertise and experience).
