To maintain safety & health in accordance with WSH Act and WSH legislative requirements
Responsible for administration of safety & health records accordingly to the company's accreditation such as ISO, OSHAS & BizSafe requirements and preparation for audits
Responsible for implementation and administration of site Safety & Health Management System (SHMS), identification of WSH Hazards, implementation of control measures, conduct Safety inspection and Safety committee meetings, update and reviewing of changes
To provide technical and professional safety assistance to the site construction management
To brief Project Manager / Project Team regularly on the execution status of the overall EHS program
To conduct daily EHS toolbox meeting, prepare and maintain PTW records
Promptly correct any unsafe condition or practice
To conduct accident/incident investigations and preparation of investigation reports, including the effective closures of all corrective/preventive actions
Recommend Stop Work Order to Project Manager when unsafe conditions arise including to promptly correcting any unsafe conditions or safe work practice
Identify environmental health irregularities and recommend measures to rectify such irregularities
Inspect site to ensure all facilities and equipment relevant to the maintenance of environmental health are in proper working condition and do not pose any environmental health hazard
Participate as a risk management team member in the site RM organization
Participate in risk assessment activities for site
Any other duties as may be assigned.
Job Requirements:
Candidate must possess Advance Certificate in Workplace Safety & Health, Risk Management and First Aid certified.
