- To maintain safety & health in accordance with WSH Act and WSH legislative requirements
- Responsible for administration of safety & health records accordingly to the company's accreditation such as ISO, OSHAS & BizSafe requirements and preparation for audits
- Responsible for implementation and administration of site Safety & Health Management System (SHMS), identification of WSH Hazards, implementation of control measures, conduct Safety inspection and Safety committee meetings, update and reviewing of changes
- To provide technical and professional safety assistance to the site construction management
- To brief Project Manager / Project Team regularly on the execution status of the overall EHS program
- To conduct daily EHS toolbox meeting, prepare and maintain PTW records
- Promptly correct any unsafe condition or practice
- To conduct accident/incident investigations and preparation of investigation reports, including the effective closures of all corrective/preventive actions
- Recommend Stop Work Order to Superior when unsafe conditions arise including to promptly correcting any unsafe conditions or safe work practice
- Identify environmental health irregularities and recommend measures to rectify such irregularities
- Inspect site to ensure all facilities and equipment relevant to the maintenance of environmental health are in proper working condition and do not pose any environmental health hazard
- Participate as a risk management team member in the site RM organization
- Participate in risk assessment activities for site
- Any other duties as may be assigned.
Job Requirements:
. Candidate must possess Advance Certificate in Workplace Safety & Health, Risk Management and First Aid certified.
