Job Description & Requirements
- Creating and implementing comprehensive safety plans tailored to the specific tunnel project, aligning with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Conducting regular risk assessments to identify potential hazards and developing strategies to mitigate them.
- Developing and delivering safety training programs for all tunnel workers, including emergency response procedures, hazard recognition, and personal protective equipment (PPE) use.
- Conducting regular safety inspections of the tunnel worksite, equipment, and personnel to identify and address safety hazards.
Requirements:
- Possess relevant Certificates (e.g. Advanced Certificate in WSH)
- Minimum 3 years of working experience in tunneling from construction industry
- Familiar with the statutory requirements related to WSH Act and other aspect of safety
