Responsible for the development, implementation and effectiveness of the Health & Safety policy, Safety procedures and practices in relation to Company premises, carrying out regular audits and monitoring activities Organization-wide Responsible for the provision and dissemination of Health & Safety, advice on information include current safety legislation to the stakeholders
Responsible for overseeing and carrying out all works relating to the safety, health and environmental matters in the project.
Work closely with project team & contractors to mitigate and control all high risk hazards to maintain a safe workplace.
Oversee and review all accident investigations and preparing statistics to assist in monitoring health and safety performance Manage and execute WSH programme initiatives Lead and coach site safety team to facilitate continual improvement of quality of safety team
Ensure overall compliance and good procedures/practices in statutory environmental and health requirements at project site and requirement premises at all time.
To identify any unsafe condition in the worksite or unsafe work practice is carried out in the worksite.
Implement and monitor environmental, health & safety management system on site.
Prepare, submit statutory reports and maintain of documentation for all EHS issues according to ISO.
Conduct regular site inspections to ensure that all site activities are carried out in compliance with MOM, NEA and EHS regulations.
Liaise with relevant authorities on all environmental and safety issues.
Support all in-house EHS initatives.
Oversee and manage the safety department
Drive WSH Awards initiatives and submissions
Requirement:
Only Singaporean / PR will be considered for this position
Specialist diploma in WSH or MOM Recognised certificates
Minimum of 8 years of experience as a Safety Officer or related experiences
Strong leadership and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
Certification in Occupational Health and Safety (OH&S) is a must.
Must be responsible, organized and self-initiated.
