To ensure that yard operations run smoothly at all times. This includes but not limited to management of traffic in the yard ensuring good functionality of machine/equipment and reporting any irregular findings to management and making sure all vehicles are in proper working order
To manage yard workers and make decisions on issues relating to workers duties, attendance and performance
Directly oversee daily activities in the yard. Required to plan and assign duties to workers, and ensure the tasks assigned to the team are completed on a daily basis
Provide on the job training for workers and ensure workers conform to SOP and safety regulations set out by the company
