YOUNGSTARTERS ASSISTANT TEACHER· Strong communication skills with children, teachers, and parents.
· Ability to manage and engage with a group of young children.
· Patience, empathy, and a nurturing demeanor.
· Basic understanding of child development and early childhood education practices.
· Previous experience working with young children in a preschool, daycare, or related setting is often required or preferred.
· Familiarity with early childhood curriculum and activity planning
· Assist the lead teacher in planning and executing daily lesson plans.
· Set up and organize learning materials and classroom environment.
· Guide children in engaging, age-appropriate activities that foster social, emotional, physical and cognitive development.
· Monitor childrens activities both indoors and outdoors to ensure safety.
· Assist with mealtime, restroom breaks, and nap time routines.
· Ensure that children follow classroom rules and maintain appositive behavior.
· Provide assistance with feeding, dressing, and hygiene as needed.
· Encourage childrens self-help skills and independence.
· Help children resolve conflicts in a calm and supportive manner.
· Maintain open communication with lead teacher, parents, and other staff.
· Report any behavioral or developmental concerns to the lead teacher or school administrators.
· Assist in documenting childrens progress through observations and notes.
· Help maintain attendance records, incident reports, and other necessary documentation.
