Manager, Regional Communications
Objectives
- Develop digital/market/external communication strategies and plans for the Business Management Unit to engage relevant stakeholders and accelerate business growth
- Implement and support employee communication for the Regional Business Unit Performance Materials Asia Pacific and the Business Management Unit
- Support communication plans for the Regional Operations community, Creation Centers outside China, Consumer Electronics Competency Center and Footwear Innovation Center.
Responsibilities
- Be the competence center for branding and strategic marketing communications for Asia Pacific business unit and mentor the communications team within the Unit on these topics.
- Work in close collaboration with Business Management Unit Vice President and Regional Marketing team to proactively understand the strategic needs of the Business, and how digital marketing can contribute to business growth.
- Formulate and execute all communication activities for the Business Management Unit in Asia Pacific, as well as for Creation Centers and other competency centers outside China. Develop strategic marketing communications plans for the Unit.
- Provide communications consultancy services on Business Management Unit communications to all countries in Asia-Pacific.
- Implementation of global and regional online communications activities, including global/regional/country internet, content development for global/regional websites, design digital marketing campaigns and social media programs, etc.
- Coordinate with Communications team members, agency partners and other departments to execute various projects, including the industry's leading trade fair, developing marketing literature, event modular concept, internal communications, media relations, etc.
- Support digital marketing activities such as Search Engine Optimization and Search Engine Marketing, etc.
- Support global and regional internal communication activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Media or Marketing
- Minimum 8 years of experience in digital marketing, branding and marketing communications.
- MNC work experience is preferred.
- Excellent working knowledge of basic computer programs (i.e., Microsoft 365 like Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams), experienced in preparing presentations, event moderation and preferably video/photo editing skills.
- Excellent copywriting and storytelling skills.
