Job Description
Get to Know the Team
Reporting to the Manager on a hybrid work arrangement, you will be part of an exciting sales team that is responsible for acquiring, managing and growing the SME Lending business while providing loan advisory and solutions to meet the financing needs of merchant customers.
Get to Know the Role
You will own the targets for SG MSME lending business and 1) pitch loans solutions to grab and new to grab merchants 2) cross sell other grab products (GrabPay & GrabAds etc) to existing merchant customers.
The Critical Tasks You Will Perform
- Acquire new SME loan accounts through cold-calling and referrals.
- Establish and maintain long-term, profitable borrowing relationships with existing and prospective SME clients.
- Ensure proper advisory procedures and documentation in line with internal policies, business processes, and regulatory requirements.
- Cross-sell other Grab products and services.
- Diagnose inefficiencies in the sales process and provide data-driven recommendations; suggest improvements in the value proposition based on merchant feedback and competition.
- Collaborate closely with other functions within GrabFinance and across Grab to achieve SME business goals.
- Provide administrative and client service support, including responding to client inquiries, maintaining client data, and assisting with credit reviews/renewals.
Qualifications
What Essential Skills You Will Need
- Bachelor's degree or 5 years relevant work experience in sales, preferably in the financial services industry.
- Strong acumen in diagnosing problems and improve processes.
- Proven ability to exceed sales targets, dynamic, and motivated.
- Competent in engaging and managing internal and external stakeholders..
- Experience in providing administrative and client service support, addressing client inquiries, and maintaining accurate client data.
