Our client is a Japanese automotive parts manufacturer. The Business Development Representative will be in charge of both developing new clients and marketing-related activities.
Reporting to: Manager
Responsibilities
- Grow the company's influence and have a conversion strategy in place while also increasing brand loyalty and awareness.
- Establish and nurture strong professional connections with current and potential clients and suppliers.
- Create and implement effective marketing strategies aligned with the company's overall sales goals.
- Plan and manage digital marketing campaigns, analyzing metrics, and identifying marketing trends.
- Creates and implements all website, search engine optimization, online cataloguing, database marketing, email, social media, and display advertising campaigns.
- Analyse market trends and competitor products to identify opportunities for innovation and differentiation.
- Assist and provide relevant advice to management in relation to current market conditions & opportunities.
- Provide regular updates and periodic reports to management.
- Perform any other ad-hoc assigned.
Requirements & Preferences
(Must)
- Diploma/Degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of regional sales, business development, and marketing experience within the Automotive industry
- Strong communication and negotiation skills in both English and Mandarin to liaise with English and Mandarin stakeholders
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfortable going for business trips for about 1-2 per month within SEA countries
(Advantageous)
- Experience in digital marketing/digital media from Automotive or related industries will be an added advantage.
- Experience working in a Japanese company is a plus!
