Content Writer

What You'll Do:

The Content Writer will be responsible for creating high-quality, engaging written content across various platforms, including blogs, websites, social media, and email campaigns for Ask & Embla. This role requires a strong command of language, attention to detail, and the ability to adapt writing style to different audiences and platforms.

• Content Creation: Develop engaging content for blogs, articles, product descriptions, social media, and the Ask & Embla website.
• Brand Consistency: Ensure all content aligns with the company's brand voice and style guidelines.
• Content Gaps: Identify gaps in content and recommend new topics to keep the content fresh and relevant.
• Content Strategy: Collaborate with the marketing team to develop content strategies, copy plans and editorial calendars.
• Research: Conduct in-depth research on industry-related topics to generate original and relevant content.
• SEO Optimization: Utilize SEO best practices to enhance content visibility and drive organic traffic.
• Editing and Proofreading: Review and edit content for accuracy, clarity, and consistency.
• Complex Concepts: Distill complex concepts into content that is easily understood and accessible.
• Analytics: Monitor content performance using analytics tools and adjust strategies to improve engagement and reach.
• Internal Collaboration: Work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment and consistency in messaging, branding, and style.
• Project Management: Manage and complete multiple writing projects on time, meeting deadlines and content requirements in terms of style and project specifications.

Who You Are:

• Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in content writing, preferably within a digital marketing or publishing environment.
• Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a strong attention to detail and ability to grasp the Ask & Embla brand voice.
• Proficiency in SEO best practices and experience with keyword research and optimization tools.
• Ability to write for various formats and platforms, including blogs, social media, and email campaigns.
• Strong research skills and the ability to quickly grasp complex topics and translate them into engaging content.
• Excellent time management skills and the ability to meet tight deadlines.
