Job Purpose:
The Head of Marketing is responsible to work with the Founder to conceive, design and implement short and long-term plans to generate profitability of the retail and online business. You will be responsible for creating the conditions for success in all aspects of Society A's business activities, from sourcing, selecting and developing the team members executing business strategy to deliver annual retail priorities that include the distribution of online activities. Key driver in achieving business goals and ensure strategies are well communicated to every employee in the team.
Job Description:
Business Management & Marketing
- Responsible for strategic development plans to achieve sales targets and margins
- Perform monthly, yearly budget and forecast plans and not limited to sales forecast plans, operating budgets, staffing plans, marketing plans and capital expenditures.
- Anticipate the needs of the structure on both people and system to cope with the growth of the brand locally and regionally.
- Work closely with the team to constantly monitor P&L and Cashflow Management & Operations.
- Develop short-and long-term plans and budgets for the communications, public relations, advertising and events, monitoring progress, assure adherence and evaluate performance.
General Operations:
- Collaborate with Merchandising team to determine seasonal buying guidelines for SocietyA.
- Oversee buying activities - direct and indirect purchases for store & ready to wear products based on analysis and allocation budget done during the year.
- Oversee stocks and inventories in close collaboration with the merchandiser, store, operations, warehouse and finance department and ensure to reduce storage costs and optimizing the warehouse.
- Define the new objectives and the KPIs of the multi-brand label structure so that they are in line with the growth of the individual brands and development a continuous improvement plan.
- Define and implement reporting system for internal users so to monitor the supply and demand level of incoming and outgoing stocks.
Requirements:
- Bachelor Degree in Marketing, Business, Communications or equivalent
- Min 8 years of experience in marketing, preferably in the luxury or retail sectors
- Driven, self-motivated individual with excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
