Job responsibilities:
The main objective of this role is to improve the sales of the business. The marketing strategy should encompass the core services of BA i.e. - Certification, Training, Sustainability.
1. Market Share Analysis & Growth:
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify target audience, competitor and industry trends
- Quantify and analyse SGS Business Assurance's current market share across key sectors.
- Identify growth opportunities and develop strategies to capture new markets.
- Conduct competitor analysis and benchmarking.
2. Marketing Strategy Development and Execution
- Design and implement integrated marketing campaigns to raise awareness and drive demand for the primary services under BA
- Focus on digital marketing, social media, content marketing, and lead generation to target decision-makers in relevant industries.
- Create, build, execute and maintain marketing campaigns across the BA business
- Create, maintain and build marketing assets, including social media posts, print and digital advertising, EDMS and ad hoc collateral such as brochures, flyers and banners.
- Assist with organising, set up and promotion of in-person and online events, webinars, conferences, tradeshows, etc
- Reporting on campaign and lead performance to key stakeholders
- Optimize campaign metrics looking at where improvements can be made and recommend these
- Write effective copy for social media posts, news articles, case studies and EDMs
- Ensure brand consistency and brand guidelines are followed through communication and collateral produced
- Manage and assist with ad hoc marketing requests.
- Ensure executing digital marketing for SGS BA
3. Collaboration and Cross-Functional Communication:
- Work closely with all internal stakeholders to ensure consistent messaging and lead generation efforts.
- Partner with external stakeholders and industry bodies to elevate SGS's presence in sustainability and ESG.
- Monitor shared marketing inbox and assist in internal communications to the wider business
4. Performance Measurement and Optimization:
- Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for all marketing initiatives.
- Use data to optimize campaigns for higher ROI, improve targeting, and enhance customer engagement.
- Produce regular reports on marketing performance and market trends.
Requirements:
- Bachelor degree in Marketing/Business or equivalent
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to create persuasive and clear marketing content.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Proactive, with the ability to work both independently and in a team-oriented environment.
- Proven experience in developing and executing B2B marketing strategies.
- Proven capabilities on digital marketing strategy and execution
- Experience with digital marketing tools (SEO, PPC, CRM, and social media platforms).
- Experience with marketing of sustainability or certification services is a plus.
