The company is looking for a proactive Regional Sales Manager - APJ to spearhead growth in the APJ (Asia-Pacific and Japan) Emerging/Nascent Markets, specifically focusing on Japan, Korea, China, Hong Kong, and Taiwan.
The ideal candidate has to possess fluency in both Japanese and Mandarin.
The role requires strong communication skills, adaptability, and a quick learning curve to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue goals within the APJ Emerging Markets.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders in Japan, Korea, China, Hong Kong, and Taiwan.
- Conduct in-depth market research to identify regional trends, opportunities, and competitive forces that can influence business outcomes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, ensuring seamless alignment between marketing and sales efforts.
- Monitor sales performance, providing insights, analysis, and actionable recommendations to enhance sales strategies.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows, enhancing brand visibility and promoting thought leadership.
- Effectively manage the sales pipeline and provide accurate sales forecasts to leadership.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
- A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in sales management.
- Fluency in Japanese and Mandarin is essential; proficiency in English is highly desirable.
- Proven success in consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets in a multicultural, multi-market environment.
- Strong understanding of the business landscape, culture, and market dynamics within Japan, Korea, and Greater China.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence stakeholders.
- Willingness and ability to travel frequently within the assigned territories.
