About The Role
The digital marketing performance manager holds the accountability of the overall account performance and budget utilization for a portfolio of clients and ensures that the team works cohesively in developing, maintaining and optimizing performance marketing channels. Additionally, the mid-tier position is responsible in producing reports and insights along with recommending growth strategies and tactics for internal and external stakeholders. This role requires a people leader with a strong strategic mindset, experience in project management, established communication skills, a deep understanding of digital marketing disciplines (paid and non-paid) and analytical mind.
Responsibilities
Management and Growth (40%)
- Frequently monitor performance dashboard and proactively maintain performance and budget pacing
- Measure and report performance of all channels and campaigns, and assess against goals to internal and external stakeholders
- Contribute to the development of media plans and successful performance marketing strategies
- Maintain complete visibility on campaign opportunities and risks
- Provide recommendation on tactical developments and optimisations
- Hands on campaign executions when required
- Remain constantly updated with company capabilities and service and upgrade knowledge on digital marketing solutions so as to effectively communicate all offerings to the client
Project Management (40%)
- Lead and brief multiple projects relating to marketing campaigns and creative
- Communicate internally and externally on project status
- Ensuring and monitoring satisfactory quality of work
- Manage and oversee the team's workload and priorities
- Control client delivery to prevent over-servicing
- Delegate, supervise and apply quality control on executional tasks
- Keep up to date with promotional campaigns and proactively manage the execution
Team Management and Development (20%)
- Provide guidance, support, and encouragement to team members to enhance their performance and boost their motivation
- Coordinate and/or request trainings for the team or team members
- Flag team shortcomings (capacity, capability and/or behaviour) to the management team and contribute in resolving team issues
Requirements
Qualification and Experience
- At least 3 years of experience in client servicing and team lead capacity working in a Digital Marketing Agency
- At least 1 year of managing multiple marketing projects
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
Technical and Soft Skills
- Skilled proficiency in directly managing and strategizing for Google Ads and Facebook Ads as a minimum
- Proficiency in the following is an advantage: Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Google Data Studio, and Google Workspace Suite
- Experience in using Project Management software (preferably ClickUp)
- Excellent written and spoken interpersonal skills; with exceptional presentation skills
- Possess leadership and people development skills
