We are seeking a talented content writer and social media specialist to join the SBF Communications team. The successful candidate will be someone who is updated with digital industry trends and best practices and adept at creating engaging content across various platforms.
Job Responsibilities:
Content Creation and Editing
- Develop good knowledge of the organisation's brand positioning and range of activities and can distil this into appropriate content (statics, carousels, micro-videos, infographics etc.) for various platforms
- Create and maintain the editorial calendar for SBF's social media channels including monitoring and reporting performance of the channels, analysing statistics to inform content strategy
- Write clear, concise and engaging content for social media, e-mailers and other marketing channels
- Attend events, conduct interviews/filming, take photos etc. for content generation
- Edit and proofread content for accuracy, clarity and adherence to SBF's tone of voice and brand personality
Media Management
- Support the media relations efforts of the Federation including preparation of media lists, drafting media invites and press releases
- Onsite liaison with journalists at key events and follow-up on their queries
- Support the logistics preparations for media events such as press conferences and interviews
Job Requirements:
- More than 3 years experience in a relevant role
- Strong project management skills including ability to manage multiple projects, meeting tight deadlines, and maintaining attention to detail
- Creative thinker with a passion for storytelling and driving engagement through innovative communication strategies
- Experience in economic/trade/business-related fields and managing vendors will be an advantage
